Maria Herrera

May 18, 1954 - February 14, 2021

Maria Del Carmen Hidalgo-Herrera, 66, passed away on February 14, 2021 at AdventHealth alongside her Family. She was the wife of German Herrera, they shared 36 years of marriage. Born in Quito, Ecuador she was the daughter of Zoila Mogollon and Jorge Hidalgo. Our mother was a Seamstress for many years until she decided to care for her own children. Our mother is survived by her husband German, her 5 children, along with 8 beautiful grandchildren. Our mother was the "Mother Teresa" of all, she also babysat kids for 30 years and her job stopped with her grandkids. During all those years she has touched so many lives from near and far. She was always available for advice or to spread love to other kids that weren't even hers. She was a true Angel walking the earth. We will always remember her as the life of the party! A Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church. More details to come.
