Herminia Velez Morales

Herminia Vélez-Morales, de 76 años, falleció el lunes 24 de octubre en AdventHealth Celebration Hospital, después de una larga batalla contra el cáncer. Nació el 6 de diciembre de 1945 en Utuado Puerto Rico, sus padres Juan Vélez y Bonifacia Vélez y hermanas y un hermano. Herminia vivió su vida al máximo. Fue una mujer fuerte, cariñosa, tierna, y más que nada graciosa. Dedico su vida a compartir su amor y alegría con todos a quien conociera. Su familia y amistades la conocían como una persona amable, cómica, inteligente, excelente cocinera, gran madre, abuela, esposa, amiga, única, confiable, dulce, dedicada, y sobre todo llena de amor y felicidad. Sobrevivida por su esposo, Miguel A. Morales, de Kissimmee, Florida, y dos hijas, Maribel Mahoney, yerno Kevin Mahoney, nietos Isabella y Keegan Mahoney, de Arlington Virginia y Marilín Ramos-Rodríguez, yerno Jose L. Rodriguez, nietos Luis Andrés y Daniel Rodriguez, de Kissimmee, Florida. El servicio conmemorativo de la cremación se llevará a cabo el sábado, 12 de noviembre de 2022, desde las 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM en Porta Coeli Funeral Home y Crematorio, 2801 E. Herminia Velez-Morales, 76, passed away Monday, October 24 at AdventHealth Celebration Hospital, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on December 6, 1945 in Utuado Puerto Rico, to parents Juan Vélez and Bonifacia Vélez and sisters and a brother. Herminia lived her life to the fullest. She was a strong, loving, tender, and most of all a funny woman. She dedicated her life to sharing her love and joy with everyone she met. Her family and friends knew her as a kind, funny, intelligent, excellent cook, great mother, grandmother, wife, friend, unique, reliable, sweet, dedicated, and above all full of love and happiness. She is survived by her husband, Miguel A. Morales, of Kissimmee, Florida, and two daughters, Maribel Mahoney, son-in-law Kevin Mahoney, grandchildren Isabella and Keegan Mahoney, of Arlington Virginia and Marilín Ramos-Rodriguez, son-in-law Jose L. Rodriguez, grandchildren Luis Andrés and Daniel Rodriguez, of Kissimmee, Florida. The cremation memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Porta Coeli Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2801 E.
